My story...
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My parents first introduced me to photography, long before digital cameras and smartphones became part of everyday life. My mother was an accomplished photographer herself, and together they taught me to appreciate how a photograph can preserve a moment that might otherwise be forgotten.
That appreciation has stayed with me.
For much of my working life, photography has been my creative escape from the corporate world. It's an opportunity to slow down, notice the little things and see the world from a different perspective.
I enjoy photographing all sorts of subjects, but I'm particularly drawn to people and the moments that tell their stories. A shared laugh, a quiet connection, the joy of a celebration or the excitement of a sporting event. Often, it's the unexpected moments that make the most memorable photographs.
My approach is simple and relaxed. I want people to feel comfortable, be themselves and enjoy the experience. I prefer natural expressions over stiff poses, and genuine moments over anything too staged.
For me, photography has always been about more than taking pictures. It's about capturing memories, emotions and connections that can be enjoyed and remembered for years to come.
And in many ways, every photograph I take is a small tribute to my parents, who first inspired my love of photography.
Thanks for stopping by.
Ari
